Carers Direct

We know that some carers will be looking forward to the festivities and seeing family and friends over the holidays. However, we understand that caring doesn’t stop at Christmas and many carers will be feeling isolated, exhausted, or worried about how they will manage.

We would like to bring carers together over the festive period through virtual events. Find out what events and catch-ups we have on below.

Hear from professional singer, Ruth Getz, about why you should join our Christmas activities for carers, including a festive singalong!

What’s On

Christmas singalong

When: Tuesday 27 December, 11am.

Come along to our fun and informal Christmas singalong – we’ll be singing all the favourites. This is hosted by professional singer, Ruth Getz. Feel free to bring along the person you’re looking after.

Virtual catch up

When: Wednesday 28 December, 10.30am to 11.30am

Get yourself a cup of tea and join us for a virtual get together. A chance to let us know how you are and to connect with other unpaid carers.

Festive Quiz

Thursday 29th December, 4-5pm

Come and test your knowledge of all things Christmas with our Carers First Christmas Quiz. All welcome. Feel free to don any festive outfits and have a mince pie to hand.

If you’d like to attend any of our events, complete our short form and we’ll send you the Zoom link.
