Our survey is now closed and we are in the process of collating and analysing the results.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to complete it. We have met with the Patient reference group to discuss the results and actions going forward.

A report will be posted on the website later this week and agreed an action plan.

Update 3rd February 2012

The practice and the group recently met to agree questions for our forthcoming survey.

Update 18th January 2012

Our first introductory meeting was held 10th January where the practice gave an introduction to key members from the practice involved with the group, an overview of what the group can and cannot effect, and some short and long term aims. There was also a short Q&A session where we tried to answer as many questions as possible. This was attended by 13 members of the group.

Unfortunately shortly after this meeting we were made aware that some application forms were mislaid. We have now contacted all people affected and have scheduled another introduction meeting for week commencing 23rd January. We sincerely apologise to those affected, and look forward to meeting you in the coming week. We have since taken steps to ensure this doesn't happen again.

Our updated member total is now 92. Thanks to all of you who have applied. Just a reminder that recruitment is currently closed to new applications, but we'll hold onto any that we receive and will contact you when we re-open recruitment again after the foundations of the group are established.

We will have our first official meeting week commencing 30th January, where the practice and the Patient Reference Group will meet to discuss the content of this year's practice survey.

We'll be trying to capture information on how you rate the service we provide, things which we're considering implementing, and some questions regarding services/options you think would be useful. PRG Members will be contacted in the next few days to advise them of the exact date/time/location.

You'll see this area of our website start to expand over the coming weeks, with new sections to organise information.

We are creating a NEW Patient Reference Group which will work to improve communication between the Practice and Patients and ensure the services provided meet the needs of patients.

We are currently recruiting new members to join the group. The only requirement is that you are a registered patient at Munro Medical Centre. Previous experience isn’t necessary, and we welcome applicants of all ages, nationalities, and from all backgrounds.
