Any patient suffering with flu type symptoms are requested NOT to attend the Practice in person.

• Stay at home and check your symptoms at the National Pandemic Flu Service https://www.pandemicflu.direct.gov.uk/
Or telephone the service on 0800 1 513 100

• You should call your GP directly if:

- you have a serious underlying illness
- you are pregnant
- you have a sick child under one year old
- your condition suddenly gets much worse
- your condition is still getting worse after seven days (or five days for a child)

Flu Friend – This can be a friend or relative (who does not have symptoms of flu) who could, if needed, collect your authorisation letter for antivirals from the Practice and take it to the nominated collection point.

This is currently at West Elloe Pharmacy, West Elloe Avenue, Spalding, PE11 2BY

To check for up to date information on collection times visit the
NHS Lincolnshire website or Tel. 0800 141 2552.

Please note: when you attend the antiviral collection point the flu friend will need identification for themselves and the patient. Eg Driving Licence, Passport, ID or NHS card, recent paid utility bill. (Full list of acceptable ID will be attached to your authorisation letter.)

Antivirals are not available from the Practice or Pharmacies.
