Munro Medical Centre is expanding to meet the needs of an ever growing population. As you may have seen if you have visited the surgery recently work has started and is well underway. The work will add amongst other things:
- 7 consultation rooms
- 2 examination rooms
- Disabled toilet
- An additional waiting area
- Additional 10 car parking spaces (including an additional 2 disabled spaces bringing this to 4).
We understand that it is frustrating that current car parking spaces are reduced, and apologise for the inconvenience. The building contractors require this space to move and store materials and equipment used in the building of the extension, and the area is fenced off for safety reasons. It is important however, that you do not park on the access road to the fire station as this may delay the Fire service response in the event of an emergency. The extra capacity will allow us to offer more appointments and clinics, and we hope it will reduce waiting times.
The estimated completion date is Autumn 2010.
We are
now offering online services via
SystmOnline.
Patients who were
previously registered for Emis
Access may use the new system
with their current login details
but will be asked to provide a
new password for security
reasons.

From 19th December
2007 our only contact telephone
number will be
0844 815 1571.
All internal
telephone extensions will be
transferred via this telephone
number.
You will be presented with a new
list of extension numbers in order
for you to be connected to the
correct department.
All current internal
telephone numbers will become null
and void as from the 19th December
2007. Please bear with us
during this transitional period. The
new telephone number will improve
the smooth streamlining of all our
incoming calls.

appointments online - these
appointments are restricted to your
usual GP, and are advance
appointments.
