2007 our only contact telephone
number will be
0844 815 1571.
All internal
telephone extensions will be
transferred via this telephone
number.
You will be presented with a new
list of extension numbers in order
for you to be connected to the
correct department.
All current internal
telephone numbers will become null
and void as from the 19th December
2007. Please bear with us
during this transitional period. The
new telephone number will improve
the smooth streamlining of all our
incoming calls.

Influenza (Flu) is a
viral infection that strikes mainly
during the winter months.
It can affect people of all ages.
The first signs are:
Headache
Sore Throat
Runny Nose
Aching muscles
Fever
Shivering
Flu make you feel completely
exhausted and the extreme
fatigue may last for two or
three weeks.
You can catch flu
by breathing droplets in the air
that contains the virus or an
infected person. The symptoms start
to develop between on e and four
days later.
People at the greatest risk of
contracting the flu:
Anyone over 65
years of age
Anyone living in Residential
Care
Anyone who is a Main Carer
Multiple sclerosis
Asthma
COPD
Chronic Heart Disease
Chronic Renal Disease
Chronic Liver Disease
Stroke / TIA
Diabetes
Immunosuppression
We as a practice
are expecting delivery of our Flu
Vaccines at the beginning of October
2007.
Anyone who falls in the above
categories will receive a written
invitation from the practice.
Our website and notice boards in the
reception area will inform you of
regular updates.
The practice has has
achieved the full 1000 quality
points for 2007. The maximum score
in the quality and outcome framework
is 1000.

variety of nursing appointments by
booking online. You can now book GP
appointments online - these
appointments are restricted to your
usual GP, and are advance
appointments.

pressure machine in the waiting room.
The practice is
currently working with outside
agencies to expand the premises and
the car park.
